• Educate and bring awareness to animals and to animal issues including:

• Pet overpopulation (problems and solutions for change)
• Operate as a FREE resource and referral service
• Health and safety issues for pet owners and the community
• Support of animal rescue groups and no-kill shelters
• Provide speakers and trainers for our community
• Recognize the economic impact on pets and their families
• Understand puppy mills, dog & cock fighting, chaining & tethering issues, and other concerns to animal welfare
• Learn more about modern and contemporary shelter practices.  To offer positive change in our outdated and often inhumane government-run dog shelters
• Networking with local, state and national animal organizations and individuals in animal care and control
• The link between animal abuse and human abuse
• Business and investment opportunities in animal-related fields and service
• Setting up dog parks and spay/neuter clinics
